Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Creative Map (“the Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Creative Map is a platform that allows creative professionals to create public profiles, display their location on an interactive 3D globe, and connect with studios, clients, and collaborators. The platform is available in a free tier and a paid Pro tier.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• One person may maintain one account. Creating multiple accounts to abuse free-tier limits is not permitted.
• You agree to provide accurate profile information. Impersonating another person is prohibited.

3. Pro subscription

• Pro features include: gold marker on the globe, advanced search, portfolio gallery (up to 5 images), direct contact from other members, and availability status filtering.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date.
• You may cancel at any time via the “Manage subscription” link. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice by email.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of all content you upload (profile information, portfolio images, bio, links). By posting content on Creative Map you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, store, and distribute that content as part of operating the Service.

You confirm that you own or have the right to use all content you upload, and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or offensive content
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other members
• Use the contact feature for spam or unsolicited commercial messages
• Attempt to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform in bulk
• Interfere with or disrupt the infrastructure of the Service
• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation

6. Public profiles

Your profile — including your name, specialty, city, country, bio, links, and portfolio — is visible to all visitors of Creative Map, including non-registered users. Only your email address is kept private. If you wish to remove your profile from the globe, you may delete your account at any time.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice. If your Pro subscription is active at the time of termination due to a violation, no refund will be issued.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are not liable for any loss of data or opportunity arising from downtime or bugs. We are a small platform — we do our best but cannot guarantee perfection.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Creative Map's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the Slovak Republic, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
